On a particularly sparkly morning, Mr Crumpet and I headed to The Design Museum to take a gander at their exhibition celebrating Sir Terence Conran’s 80th birthday – The Way We Live Now.

If the designs of Terence Conran are not high on your radar, firstly shame on you, and secondly head over to The Conran Shop for some design inspiration.

I was really struck by the vast variety of projects Conran has turned his hand to over the decades, ranging from ruling the roost at Habitat, to opening his own super cool restaurants (seems he is quite a big foodie). My three favourite elements were seeing how all the design objects were displayed, Sir Terence’s early prints from the 1950’s and the huge array of chair designs, all different but with the same high quality craftsmanship and design sensibility.
